Nicole M. Volpi, Ph.D., NRP is an educator and researcher who works full-time as a paramedic for a hospital-based 9-1-1 service in the New Orleans metropolitan area. She serves as an EMS Liaison for the Jefferson Parish Emergency Operations Center and as the Region One EMS Alternate Designated Regional Coordinator.

Dr. Volpi holds a Ph.D. in Public Safety Leadership with a specialization in Emergency Management and is currently pursuing a Master of Education in Curriculum & Instruction – STEM. She has presented on disaster response, EMS operations, and the integration of EMS practices with STEM education.
