Hugh earned his Master of Public Health from the University at Buffalo, specializing in Community Health and Health Behavior, after completing his bachelor's degree in Exercise Science. Before joining the MATTERS Program, he served in clinical leadership, gaining experience coordinating healthcare teams, improving patient care, and supporting quality improvement initiatives. Passionate about improving access to care, Hugh is committed to building long-lasting partnerships with healthcare providers, community organizations, and other local partners throughout Western New York and the Finger Lakes Region. He looks forward to supporting providers as they implement the MATTERS model and helping individuals connect to treatment and recovery resources when they need them most.
