Exhibit Hall CME: From EMS Encounter to Ongoing Care: Connecting Patients with OUD Through MATTERS and Telemedicine
Description

This session will highlight how MATTERS can help EMS teams connect individuals with opioid use disorder to treatment, harm reduction, and supportive services through a rapid referral platform. Attendees will learn how MATTERS and EMConnect can help bridge the gap from an EMS encounter to ongoing care through telemedicine and bridge prescriptions, medication and transportation vouchers, patient follow-up, and connections to community-based treatment and support. EMConnect will also discuss how telemedicine can extend care beyond the EMS encounter by providing timely clinical support and connections to ongoing treatment.
