Richard Huff, NREMT-B, MS, is an award-winning educator and innovator in EMS. He was presented with the 2024 NJ Volunteer Lifetime Achievement Award. JEMS magazine named him an EMS 10 innovator for developing empathy training for EMS providers. He frequently speaks at national and regional EMS conferences, focusing on critical and often overlooked soft skills in EMS. Huff serves as the PIO for the NJ EMS Task Force. He is a member of the NJ Disaster Response Crisis Counselor team, a life member of the Atlantic Highlands First Aid Squad, and a member of the Leonardo First Aid. He is a frequent contributor to EMS publications.
