Maia Dorsett, MD, PhD is an emergency physician and EMS medical director with a focus on quality improvement, patient safety, and evidence-based prehospital care. She serves as Associate Regional EMS Medical Director for Education and Quality for the Monroe-Livingston EMS System. Her work centers on translating data and research into practical system-level improvements in airway management, medication safety, stroke care, and geriatric EMS. She serves on the board of the National Registry of EMTs (NREMT) and as the medical director for Prodigy EMS.
