Terry Taylor, EMS PlumblineTerry A. Taylor, II is a husband, father, grandfather, fire and EMS professional, and educator who has dedicated his career to learning how to better serve and care for others. He believes that learning in fire and EMS should never end with initial certification. Responders have a professional responsibility to continually seek new knowledge, develop their skills, question established practices, and remain open to better ways of caring for their patients and communities. Just as importantly, Terry believes that what we learn should be shared with those who follow us. That philosophy has shaped his work as both a practitioner and an educator. Throughout his career as a fire officer, New York State paramedic, NYS Bureau of EMS Regional Faculty member, and community college adjunct instructor, Terry has had the opportunity to learn from outstanding EMS providers, fire service professionals, educators, and students throughout Western New York. His commitment to making high-quality education available through different learning methods eventually led to the creation of EMSPlumbline, LLC. The company reflects a simple principle that has guided much of Terry's career: responders learn in different ways, at different stages of their careers, and quality education should provide them with meaningful opportunities to continue growing. For Terry, EMS education is not simply about completing a course or maintaining a certification. It is about developing professionals who continue to learn, think critically, care for others, and ultimately pass their knowledge and experience on to the next generation of responders.
