With her bachelor’s degree in Emergency Management and over
a decade on the front lines of emergency services, Martie brings this first
hand experience to her efforts with UBMD and the MATTERS program. Serving both
rural and city EMS, she takes this experience and the elements of the platform
to help cater the support to each organization based on their needs. MATTERS
supports patients along their journey for treatment however first responders can
often be a first patient contact for those with SUD, and she looks forward to
further sharing this resource for Emergency Services.
