Dr. Carlene Thornton has over 20 years of experience in public safety, education, and program administration. She serves as the Vice President of the NAEMSE Board of Directors, works as an EMS remediation specialist, and is an author and a speaker on the national circuit. Her “I Can…” series of children’s books is designed to encourage, empower, and inspire young people and introduce them to honorable professions such as EMS.
