Staley Dietrich is a paramedic and nurse based in Brooklyn. He began his EMS career as a paramedic with Northwell Health, where he still works as an emergency department nurse. In 2017, he helped launch Mount Sinai’s community paramedic program. He then spent several years as a flight nurse for Yale-New Haven Children’s Hospital, and is currently a paramedic and critical care transport nurse with University Hospital in Newark, New Jersey. Staley has a master’s degree in education from Brooklyn College, and serves as course coordinator and lead instructor for Yale’s Critical Care Transport Course.
