Robert H. Finger Jr. has been dedicated to emergency medical services since 1993 and has served as a paramedic for over 25 years. A Nationally Registered Paramedic, he also holds certifications as a Critical Care Paramedic (CCP-C) and Flight Paramedic (FP-C) through the International Board of Specialty Certifications. Robert is a licensed Respiratory Therapist and earned his Bachelor of Science in Cardiorespiratory Science from the State University of New York Upstate Medical University in 1999. After more than two decades of highly decorated service, he retired from the fire service in 2023.

He is currently the Director of Paramedic Education at SUNY Upstate Medical University, where he leads the development and delivery of advanced EMS training programs. An experienced educator and speaker, Robert has presented nationally at the Fire Department Instructors Conference (FDIC) three times and at Firehouse Expo twice, sharing his expertise in firefighter training and emergency medical care.
