Gene Iannuzzi is the Vice Chair of the Westchester Regional EMS Council. He began his EMS career in 1975 with the former Yonkers Volunteer Ambulance Corps Volunteer Ambulance Corps and since then has worked as a 911 paramedic in NYC and Westchester and as an Emergency Department  and Trauma RN.  An EMS instructor since the 1980s,  he spent 20 years as both an adjunct and full time faculty member at Borough of Manhattan Community College, including the last six as the Paramedic Program Director, retiring in 2019.  Gene has served on WREMSCO since 2012, is a NYS Regional Faculty member, a member of the SEMSCO Training and Education committee, and continues to teach EMTs and paramedics at several course sponsorships in Westchester and New York City.
