Kate Bergen, BS, NRP, FP-C is a nationally recognized paramedic, artist, and advocate exploring the intersection of art therapy and prehospital medicine. Based in New Jersey, she is the author of Modern Day Rosies: The Women Behind The Masks and a sought-after keynote speaker on mental health and resilience in EMS. Kate’s artwork—created during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic—gained national attention for its ability to unite and heal her community, earning her a feature on Good Morning America and the cover of Real Women Magazine. A 2021 EMS 10 Innovator Award recipient and Paramedic of the Year nominee, Kate continues to use art to inspire emotional connection, honor frontline providers, and promote wellness within the emergency services profession. Kate will be showcasing several of her original pieces from the Modern Day Rosies and Women of 9/11 collections.
